The Public Relations Officer of Sudanese side, Al Hilal Omdurman , Mahgouid Awooda, he has articulated his side’s commitment to fair play in their upcoming 2nd leg of 2020/21 CAF Champions League preliminary stage against Kotoko.
In an interview with Pure fm, he says his side is going to give Kotoko hearty reception in Sudan. He reiterated their delegation were at the airport waiting for the arrival of Kotoko and vowed not to intimidate them and will ensure the match is played in a peaceful atmosphere.
He also acknowledges that fact that , lack of fans in the stadium makes it a difficult affair and deem it not over until the final whistle is blown and they emerge victorious.
He admonishes their match against the Ghanaian club in Sudan is a dicey one,
“ It’s going to be difficult game but we are looking forward to win coming Wednesday”.
Asante Kotoko left the shores of Ghana on Sunday afternoon to Sudan in their quest to overturn the 1-0 defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium to seek qualification to the next stage of the competition.
