The 2020/21 CAF Champions League game between Al Hilal and Asante Kotoko has been called off due to Coronavirus issues.
The second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round was scheduled to be played at the Al Hilal Stadium this afternoon.
Allegedly seven players and four officials of Asante Kotoko have tested positive for Coronavirus making the Porcupine Warriors ineligible to honour the game.
Reports indicates that , management of Asante Kotoko and the Ghana Football Association Executive Council member Nana Oduro Sarfo who is the leader of delegation challenge the Coronavirus tests results announced today.
A new Coronavirus tests will be conducted in the next 24 hours.
CAF is yet to release a statement on these. latest developments
