Officials and players of Divison One side Kpando Heart Of Lions have undergone the necessary COVID-19 tests as part of the Ghana Football Association requirements for the new upcoming season.
The exercise was conducted by officials of the Ghana Medical Association with tests results scheduled to be received by the club on Thursday January 7th, 2021.
The Division One league season was suspended indefinitely by the Ghana Football Association in July when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.
The Ghana Football Association announced a new date for the tier competition which is scheduled to commerce on January 8, 2021 and run down to July 2021. The highest footballing body in the country also made provision for a mandatory COVID-19 tests by all clubs ahead of the new season.
Heart Of Lions will look to win promotion back to the Ghana Premier League this season since their relegation in 2016.
