Tesla’s Elon Musk changes the World’s Richest Chart.
With a huge validation of €136 billion nudges EV brand boss ahead of Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos. Elon Musk has significantly jumped to become the world richest person for the first time with a personal fortune valued at $185 billion.
He takes the title from Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, who has been the world’s wealthiest person since 2017. The man appreciates his effort in building such a great personality in himself–he replied to one of his fan club tweets saying “How strange……Well, back to work…..”
The share of Tesla’s is reportedly more valuable than Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, GM and Ford combine.
At the start of 2020, Tesla’s price was at $115 billion but a significant increase took place on Wednesday, when Tesla’s share price hit a maximum of $700 billion. In 2020, the company produced just 500,000 cars despite the hit of Coronavirus halting world production which affected the world’s economy negatively. The figure is another substantial improvement on the previous year for the firm, which reports approximately 367,500 deliveries in 2019.
The company’s best selling brand, Telsa Model 3 became a popular and also best selling car in the UK as of December, with just under 6000 cars sold. The company has now expanded its territory to India, proving to take over the world. The man’s idea seems to be working out. The SMMT announced that UK sales of electric cars rose by 180% year on year to 108,205 units, bucking the trend of a disappointing year of sales of petrol and diesel cars.
Telsa overcame Volkswagen Golf and Ford Fiesta by being able to register 5798 with the others registering 4470 and 3367 respectively.
