Asante Kotoko vice-captain Emmanuel Gyamfi is summoned to face management of the Porcupine Warriors over issues of misconduct and unacceptable behaviour.
Gyamfi, one of the longest serving players of Asante Kotoko has been asked to appear before the management board of the team after violating club conducts and regulations.
Emmanuel Gyamfi broke the club’s code of conduct by travelling with another sports bag rather than kit sponsor ERREA for their trip to Sudan over a week ago.
Gyamfi’s decision to travel with the another sports bag sparked media circulation and has prompt the attention of club management who will need some serious answers from the club vice-captain.
Emmanuel Gyamfi however played a part in Asante Kotoko’s victory against Liberty on Monday after coming on the second half.
David Obeng Sekyere(Agt. Club Communications Manager) confirmed there were internal issues of the club which needs to be addressed in an interview granted after the club’s win over Liberty.
“There are issues within the club which needs to be addressed immediately but we dont want to that to cross our victory celebration over Liberty Professionals”. He said.
