The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has initiated legal process to challenge the Tarkwa Nsuaem Parliamentary Election result.
George Gadd, who is the party’s Constituency Secretary, Together with some Party lawyers filed a case at the Sekondi High Court on 12th January, 2021 which was Tuesday.
A statement from the Constituency Office of the NDC Said the decision to go to Court follows an audit of the result and wide Consultations with the National and the Regional Executive committee of the Party.
The Party Said It’s Found “Serious Violation” of the Electoral laws and “Many Irregularities” in the result declared by the returning officer hence their decision.
The party also want the Electoral Commission to be Compelled to re-collate the Parliamentary results from all 252 polling stations.
